This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 15, 2009:
Educating people about the corporate agenda and bad science behind this new face on furthering the global corporate agenda. Lawrence Solomon is a leading Canadian environmentalist who has battled oil and gas companies for over 30 years, a natural ally to the cause of climate change, EXCEPT that, as an environmental scientist his contacts in the world of science are extensive and he discovered what the interests are behind this global corporate fraud. He is speaking out AGAINST the IPCC and their agenda which he deems to be ONE OF THE GREATEST THREATS TO THE ENVIRONMENT AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES, especially in Africa and other parts of the world. I am very skeptical of people who say there is a huge problem, and we must all sacrifice for the common good.
I am even more skeptical of people who say there isn't a problem.
All technologies have problems at inappropriate concentrations.
The definition of a poison is something at a concentration that is toxic.
Try breathing oxygen at 3 atmosphere pressure, or water - yet both are absolute necessities of life - in approiate concentrations. There is no such thing as an “is poison” just things in toxic concentrations.
It is time we acknowledged that it is no longer appropriate to have education and economic systems designed around armed conflict for resources.
Time to educate people that we are all infinitely creative, infinitely powerful, and only a few are so damaged that they are in need in serious social restraint; rather than teaching them they are stupid and need to follow rules and orders.
Time for freedom and abundance - the post scarcity era.

People need to start examining the political and corporate agendas behind all of these “crises.” We KNOW that all of the plastics in the environment are acting as pseudo-estrogens and having severe repercussions in terms of cancer rates and reproductive disorders amongst all living species. But CO2? That's life itself. This is another scheme to tax people for being alive and to lay claim to controlling anything that emits or sequesters CO2. A scam if we ever heard of one. Why aren't we addressing all of the Depleted Uranium used in Iraq which will not only leave that land with a huge level of background radiation but, being a desert with massive windstorms, is causing the background radioactivity of our entire planet to increase massively? This is not hypothetical harm; this is harm that is proven and ongoing.
Bottom line: examine the agenda of the people who would like you to jump on their heavily-funded agenda. Who's funding it?
